The Flash Season 2: 10 Big Questions We're Asking After The Fury Of Firestorm

6. Does Iris Really Have A Brother?

Even by The Flash standards, the show really hasn't hung about with the introduction of Francine West and the major developments of that arc. Within a couple of episodes we've gone from finding out Iris' mother is still alive, and now back in Central City, to the two meeting, then Iris rejecting her, and then finding out that she's dying of MacGregor€™s Syndrome. Blimey. That wasn't enough though, because they still somehow managed to find room in the episode for one last twist to this family tale. Francine had a son, born just a few months after she left Central City. We've barely taken in the fact that she has a terminal illness, and we have a baby brother on our hands. Does Iris truly have a younger brother then, is it Joe's son, and can we expect him to show up soon? I'd guess the answers are yes, maybe, and definitely. It looks like the idea of Wally West being Iris' niece, like he is in the comics, is going to change a bit here. Because that's who this son is, right? It wouldn't really make much sense to be anyone else at this point.
