8. Who Is Vandal Savage?

Vandal Savage is undoubtably a cool character, and a promising big bad for Legends Of Tomorrow, but it feels like the show has only scratched the surface of exactly who he is. He€™s an immortal, who€™s hunting down Hawkman and Hawkgirl to steal their life force and power himself, but that€™s all there is to know right now. With such a unique background, that opens up a whole host of questions. How has he become immortal? How can he be stopped? What are his ties to Khufu and Shayera? That€™s only a few of the many things fans are no doubt clamouring to know about this villain, all of which will hopefully be answered in Legends Of Tomorrow. It€™s hard to even look at the comics and use that as a guide since this incarnation of the character appears to be very different. He certainly looks the part, and the accent is a nice twist, but the actual backstory seems very new. In fact, he more closely resembles the character of Hath-Set, a rebellious Egyptian priest who kills the Hawks with a cursed dagger that binds them all into a cycle of reincarnation. Could that be who this character really is?
