The Flash Season 2: 15 WTF Moments From 'Potential Energy'

6. Fast & Furious

We€™d seen Wally West€™s slightly roguish activities alluded to earlier at the CCPD station, but it€™s only here that we get to see a glimpse of Wally up to no good. That action, of course, is high-reward, high-energy street racing. Granted, it looks as if Wally€™s racing a 60-year-old man, but he at least won his race and the other guy€™s car. Yay! And it€™s revealed that he€™s doing this illegal racing to look after his terminally-ill mother, Francine, so his heart's in the right place. In the comic book realm, Wally West becomes his own speedster, taking on the mantle of Kid Flash and then eventually The Flash. Even though he€™s obviously got no powers here, it seems as if the character certainly has a penchant for speed.
