The Flash Season 2: 20 Most Shocking Moments (So Far)

14. The Abuse Of Lisa Snart

Whilst many a rogue has a sympathetic backstory these days, some are still just downright no-good nasty villains who carry out evil actions because they were born evil. When Lisa Snart, aka Golden Glider, return to the show during Season 2, we got a glimpse into her story; a story full of abuse and torment from her father, career criminal Lewis Snart. As Lisa reveals to Team Flash, her father physically and mentally abused her since she was just 7 years of age. This was a shocking moment and one that gave a stark, harsh and poignant twist to the Family of Rogues episode and to an arc that could€™ve easily fallen into the territory of standard, generic villainy. Upping the ante, the episode would also reveal that Lewis had implanted an explosive device in his own daughter€™s skull. Cheers, dad! Luckily for those involved, Lisa€™s brother, Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, would get some semblance of revenge for his sister by turning his patented Cold Gun on his daddy dearest during the episode€™s closing moments.
