The Flash Season 2: 7 Ups And 5 Downs From 'Versus Zoom'

In a nice nod to what’s gone before, it was awfully cool to see The Flash utilize the same device which Patty Spivot had used to stop him in his tracks earlier in the season.

This particular, for lack of a better term, speed trap or debilitator hasn't been seen or referenced at all since Patty used it on Barry in order for her to get to do whatever she wanted to Weather Wizard.

It totally makes sense that Team Flash would look to use such a device to take down Zoom, and it was also a reward for weekly viewers of the show.

Plain and simply, that's called continuity, kids!
