The Flash Season 3: 10 Things You Might've Missed In 'Flashpoint'
1. The Voice Of Alchemy
The end of Flashpoint leaves us with a great big question mark as Edward Clariss - from the regular timeline - is awoken by a disembodied voice. Out of nowhere, the world “Alchemy” is scratched into his bedroom mirror.
As has previously been revealed, this is setting up Doctor Alchemy to be one of season three’s big bads. Originally created in 1958, the bad doctor is a brilliant chemist who is in possession of the Philosopher’s Stone – which he uses to transpose one element into another. Could that be the reason for his apparent magic powers here?
In case you were wondering why Alchemy sounded a lot like the creepy ventriloquist’s dummy from Saw, it is indeed Tobin Bell (known for playing the Jigsaw serial killer in the torture porn franchise) who is lending his chilling tones to the character. This follows on from the use of Final Destination’s Tony Todd as the voice of Zoom in season two.
