The Flash Season 3: 12 Things You Need To Know

1. Double Trouble

The Flash Savitar Doctor Alchemy

As well as the aforementioned threat from the likes of Mirror Master and The Top, the Sultan of Speed will also find himself up against two ‘big bads’ this season.

Set to cause all kinds of problems for Barry Allen this season are Doctor Alchemy and Savitar. And if that wasn’t bad enough, what’s a little unique here is that the duo will actually be working together throughout Season 3 to take down The Flash.

Where Doctor Alchemy is concerned, he’s a Flash foe who goes all the way back to the 1950s. With the power of the Philosopher’s Stone, Alchemy is able to use his chemistry-based knowledge to create all manner of chemical-driven weapons to decimate any who oppose him. Added to that, his multiple personalities make him an erratic opponent to take down.

As for Savitar, this villainous speedster actually got his powers via his airplane being struck by lightning. Going on to form a cult at one point in time, Savitar has proven himself to be more than a match for The Flash over the years.

Despite speculation, both Doctor Alchemy and Savitar have yet to be cast in The Flash, although there’s plenty of rumours that suggest that Tom Felton’s Julian Dorn, a new CSI colleague of Barry’s, may end up being revealed to really be Doctor Alchemy.
