The Flash Season 3: 12 Things You Need To Know

9. Kid Flash

Flash Flashpoint
The CW

One of the topics that has fans most excited about Season 3 of The Flash is the inclusion of Kid Flash.

As soon as it was revealed that Keiynan Lonsdale had been cast as Wally West for Season 2 of the show, many longtime comic book fans were hoping that the TV Wally would follow in the footsteps of his comic book counterpart, who initially becomes the Scarlet Speedster’s trusty sidekick, Kid Flash, before eventually even going on to take on the Flash moniker for himself following Barry Allen’s death.

Ahead of Season 3, The CW finally let the cat out of the bag and released an image of Wally in full Kid Flash get-up… and he looked pretty damn impressive!

From what’s been revealed so far, Kid Flash will be the protector of Central City when we first pick things up in Season 3, giving fans a new heroic speedster to champion. There’s no official word on whether Wally will remain as Kid Flash once the whole Flashpoint world is righted, but it’s believed that we’ll be seeing plenty more of this new speedster throughout the entirety of this new season and beyond.
