The Flash Season 6: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
10. Ramsey Rosso/Bloodwork
In spite of gifting the Arrowverse with its all-time greatest villain, The Flash struggled in recent years to produce another truly great Big Bad. However, while The Thinker was lumbered with a weak season and Cicada was just plain dull, the show finally struck gold again with Bloodwork.
A former colleague and friend of Caitlin's, Dr. Ramsey Rosso was so fearful of dying that he saw that fear as a weakness, and in a desperate attempt to defeat death himself, he used dark matter to engineer what he deemed to be a cure. What he didn't realise was the fact that it turned anyone who took it into immortal zombie-like drones. And when he did realize that, he wanted them to join him anyway.
A man driven beyond the point of reason, Bloodwork was both an incredibly well-developed antagonist and a visually unnerving one. Sendhil Ramamurthy's alluring performance made it hard to hate him while the character gave The Flash one of its best episodes in years. And to top it all off, his short eight-episode run as the Big Bad ensured that he wasn't subjected to the same stale repetitions that his predecessor was.
Yes, Bloodwork was a terrifying win for The Flash.
