The Office: 8 Things That Needs Resolving Before The End

3. The Fate of Dunder Mifflin

It€™s strange to think that this is not such an important matter any more, considering that the fate of Dunder Mifflin itself was so vital to the story from the very beginning. I feel that David Wallace€™s return to the helm of the company was a good move, as the Sabre story had run its course. Now it is finally settled financially, I don€™t think more turmoil is the answer. I would simply like to see Dunder Mifflin continue to exist after the end of The Office, but just without the documentary crew filming. It would be a logical ending, as some of the minor characters can continue to work there afterwards without questions being asked by the viewer about a resolution to their stories. I would like to think, as a viewer, that Creed and Meredith still sit at the same desk and do the same things each day, long after the documentary crew has disappeared. Also, wouldn€™t it be a nice touch in the final episode to see Pete and Clark sitting on Jim and Dwight€™s desks respectively after the two have officially left Dunder Mifflin?
