3. Peter Griffin Cameo - Treehouse Of Horror XIII
Perhaps one of the shows most popular Easter eggs/cameos is in the season 14 edition of Treehouse of Horror. In the short Send in the Clones Homer is cloned multiple times by his new hammock which he is warned is extremely dangerous. In one scene Homer produces hundreds of clones and as the camera pans over we see the 300lb Homer from the episode King Size Homer the original Tracy Ullman show version of Homer and most notably, Peter Griffin from Family Guy. Groening has often referenced Family Guy in his work and the implication of this scene is clearly that Griffin is a clone of Homer. Griffin, along with Stan Smith also appear in the episode Italian Bob where, in the book of American criminals they are both listed as plagiarists.
