The Simpsons: 10 Guest Stars That Must Appear Before The End
1. Any U.S. President
A bit of a cheat, but The Simpsons has wanted to land a U.S. President for years. Rest assured, it won't be Trump, who the show has previously parodied.
However, it has attempted to woo the POTUS in the past - any number of them. Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, and George Bush have all turned up on the series, but were voiced by actors, not the presidents themselves.
Of course, George Bush famously said in 1992 that American families needed to be “a lot more like the Waltons and a lot less like the Simpsons." That in turn led to Bush playing a big role in Two Bad Neighbors in season seven.
Bill Clinton has been portrayed as well, and it's a shame he didn't lend his voice to the role. The closest the series has come to date is Tony Blair, who was still serving as British Prime Minister when he appeared in season fifteen's The Regina Monologues.
Any sitting world leader is impressive, but as an American show, the President is the big fish - one that has so far, gotten away.
