The Simpsons: 10 Springfield Locations We'd Love To Visit
6. Lake Springfield
We all need a scenic break from time to time. Getting out of the city and into nature is healthy and refreshing and where better to escape urban life than a lake? It's true that Lake Springfield is polluted with nuclear waste and other rubbish but what can you expect when Mayor Quimby is in charge of environmental regulations and Chief Wiggum in charge of enforcing them?
Still, all that pollution has its upsides too. Lake Springfield, formerly known as Cess Hole 17A is full of interesting wildlife you won't find anywhere else including the famous three-eyed fish. It's certainly unique, but if you do choose to go fishing, we wouldn't recommend cooking anything you catch.
