The Simpsons: 10 Worst Episodes Ever

4. Werking Mom

Simpsons Every Man’s Dream
Fox

This episode was dedicated to Marvel Comics legend and three-time guest star Stan Lee, airing just six days after his passing on November 12, 2018. The dedication would've been nice, had the episode been even vaguely decent.

For seemingly the quadrillionth time, Marge finds herself in need of a job and lands one selling Tupperware containers. In an odd little twist, the job requires Marge to do it as a drag queen leading to various failed attempts at questionable humour. Marge and her hairdresser Julio pull the wool over everyone's eyes, tricking the Springfield drag community.

None of it is particularly enthralling unless you've always wanted to know what Homer in drag looks like. Some have labelled this episode as a thematic sequel of sorts to the Season 8 classic, Homer's Phobia. As a sequel, it's more in line with The Hangover 2 or Staying Alive than The Dark Knight or The Empire Strikes Back.

For those who enjoy RuPaul's Drag Race, some engagement might be found in his guest appearance as Queen Chante. Otherwise, this one's an easy miss from Season 30.

John Cunningham hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
