2. The Wolves' Invasion

The trailers had teased it and it had been set up since the beginning of 2015, but when the wolves struck, it still managed to startle everyone. One moment Carol's watching an Alexandrian smoking in the garden, then BANG, there's a wolf hacking her to pieces. It's totally brutal but starts the ball rolling for the entire episode in the perfect fashion. Overall the wolves lasted a very disappointing length of time before they scattered, but for that one episode, their barbarian nature came to the fore. They were loud, they were merciless, they were violent beyond belief, and they were generally crazed individuals without any real cause. Butchering corpses in the street was another moment that had us all grimacing, but the entire episode could just be filed under the 'shocking' category.
