The Walking Dead: 10 Most Underused Characters
8. Laura
Though far from the first character you're likely to think about when imagining people from the show, Laura was nonetheless an intriguing and quietly compelling supporting character in the series.
First appearing in season seven as a ruthless lieutenant to Negan and the Saviors, Laura was a minor antagonist who worked closely with Eugene Porter and ousted Dwight as a traitor.
In the final battle of the war, she was one of the first Saviors to surrender to Rick and the communities, and following the disappearance of Rick she was shown to have grown into a leading member of the Alexandria council.
Hers was a small but brilliant arc, but she still felt weirdly underdeveloped, and despite her longevity on the show, she was never really given anything of note to do.
Given her growth, it would have been nice to see her stick around for a bit longer instead of being killed by Beta, especially considering the fact that the only other Savior we get to see grow on the show is Negan himself.
