The Walking Dead: 10 Romances We Could Have Done Without
2. Father Gabriel And Jadis
Jadis doesn't exist in the comic books, and was created solely for the television show. The show doesn't have a great track record when it comes to designing characters for the show, but Jadis is one of just a select few that works.
Father Gabriel, on the other hand, was in the comic, but he never once had a romantic relationship there, and eventually dies.
Therefore, it seemed strange that Jadis and Father Gabriel would hook up in the first place, especially with Father Gabriel's impending doom and the fact that Jadis was invented purely for the television show. Plus, Jadis wasn't really the type to fall head over heels and get involved with someone, which is shown later when she actually tries to kill him.
The worst thing about it was that it happened so incredibly fast. In fact, it was so rapid that it occurred over one single episode. Then, just like that, Jadis took off with Rick and disappeared.
Pointless.
