The Walking Dead: 10 Romances We Could Have Done Without

1. Andrea And The Governor

The Walking Dead Romance
AMC

Andrea hooking up with The Governor was by far the most ridiculous and offensive thing to happen on the show. What was even the point?

It was obvious from the get-go that this was not going to end well. In the beginning, Andrea claimed not to know just how bad her boyfriend was. Yet, even after finding out how awful he was, she still continued to sleep with him.

It's annoying because Andrea was a pretty cool character both in the books and in the television show. However, her romance with The Governor (which didn't happen in the comics) destroyed everything that had happened before and rendered her just an idiot looking for a good time.

Then, to make things worse, she ends up dying way earlier than she does in the comics, which was especially painful since she was such an interesting and well-written character.

The best thing to do is just pretend that the Andrea in the show is not the same Andrea as the one in the comics. Then we can get on with our lives, and live peacefully with the knowledge that comic book Andrea was a truly wonderful creation.
