The Walking Dead: 10 Things Season 6 Has Got Right (So Far)

2. The Glenn/Nicholas 'Death' Scene

Arguably the season's greatest scene was Glenn and Nicholas' chaotic 'dumpster' moment. Watching the pair struggle in an impossible situation was intense, but in the back of our minds we always knew they'd get out of it in some ridiculous manner. They didn't. The scene was perfectly handled, with the POV camera used to full effect on both characters. It was a slo-mo 'nooooo' moment for fans at home, and a brutal end for Glenn as his entrails were dragged out in a dire sequence. It was a horribly shocking death, and a fantastic piece of TV. It reinvigorated the show and brought back the air of unpredictability as there was no contrived, ludicrous escape plan for a major character. Unfortunately, Glenn did in fact return following a contrived, ludicrous escape plan. But enough of the negative for now, the initial scene itself was excellent.
