Okay, so I'm dropping Rick straight into the mix because let's face it, this is his show, his story, and his world we're all tracking. Where Rick goes, the cameras will follow. The Walking Dead has already been touted as a series which could run into double figures, and if that's the case, Rick simply has to last longer than the midway point. He's still got a huge amount to contend with, and his potential is still far from reached. Killing him now would effectively sign a death warrant for the show. I fully expect the grand finale of the series to close with Rick's demise, but until that sad day inevitably rolls around, the writers need to ensure his heart keeps beating.
