5. Why The Focus On Fringe Characters?

When will The Walking Dead writers realise that I'd rather see 10 minutes of Carol as opposed to 1 minute of her and 9 minutes of pointless filler surrounding Rosita, Eugene, and a bunch of other 'nothing' characters. I still can't tell you a single great deed that Rosita has done in the show. She disappears far too easily, and when she does appear, nothing happens. Rosita isn't the only one. Like, what is Father Gabriel's purpose? Carl was supposed to be training him, yet episodes later and we haven't even seen the pair standing together let alone achieving something.
