5. What Is Going Through Carol's Head?

Carol. Just, Carol. She was without a doubt the star of the episode, transitioning from sweet mother to fierce assassin before you could shout: 'Casserole!' While she may not be the easiest character to like, she could well be the best in the whole show. But what is going through her head? She's slapping blood on her head, blending in as a Wolf and eliminating them without a second of hesitation. She's continuing her torment of poor little Sam, she's revealed herself as a composed killer, and she's mercy-killing Alexandrians, her friends, instantly. It's clearly taking a toll on her, but what is actually going on inside her brain right now, and where is the character headed?
