The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Things Episode 13 Got Right

3. The Escape

Everything about the breakout is handled superbly. It moves from Carol's desperate struggle, to a quick, touching reunion with Maggie who proceeds to bleed out one of the captors. The subsequent walker is unleashed into the path of another captor, who Maggie finishes off with total brutality. And that's when Paula enters. The following scenes around the spiked walkers are incredibly tense, with the fight is given an extra edge due to Maggie's pregnancy. Another big part The Walking Dead's intensity is the music, with distorted screeching echoing throughout the escape. It's a dark sequence, and the sounds add to that.
