The Walking Dead Season 6 Finale: 13 Things Episode 16 Got Horribly Wrong
5. Logic
The logic of the show repeatedly comes into question and while this point isn't enormous, it's still just another example of how certain situations play out in the most ridiculous manner.
Morgan and the Saviour are in a tense standoff, with Carol's life in the balance. It was painfully obvious that the 'heroes' would both get out alive, but in reality, the Saviour should've finished his job.
"Drop it." It's a simple command from Morgan, and the Saviour replies with: "No" before making a long, deliberate move to point and shoot. He knew that firing the gun would result in his own death, but he gave Morgan an age to simply pull the trigger. Again, it's not a show-defining moment, but the Saviour, knowing he was about to die, invited Morgan to take a shot when in reality Carol should be dead.
