The Walking Dead Season 7: 9 Big Questions We're Asking After 'Service'
6. Is Father Gabriel Set For A Big Moment Soon?
Father Gabriel had a small part in one of the episode's highlights - when he turned up and Negan was completely weirded out by him.
It was a funny moment, but it also helped play into Father Gabriel's transitional arc - helped too by his strength and resilience in the face of Negan, helping to cover for Maggie's whereabouts.
Gabriel was once a weak and easily detestable figure, but steadily that's been changing. I've thought for a little while he was being set up for a heroic fall, and this instalment only strengthened that notion. Are we going to get Gabriel's big moment soon, and will it culminate with him saying a final goodbye?
