Onto the more pertinent point, and Shiva isn't just going to be a pet who sits there like a good girl for her master (though she will do that too, and dammit she'll be told that she's a good girl because that's all pets want to hear). Instead, she'll be helping in the fight against the zombies, because Shiva is a tiger and thus capable of tearing zombies apart pretty efficiently, and what's more she can eat them without getting infected. Yeah, turning the tables on the zombies. She can, however, be injured in other ways, and so help me Negan can kill any one of Rick's group but he cannot kill that tiger.
