THE WALKING DEAD Season 1 Special Edition Blu-Ray Announced

Personally speaking, I can't get enough of The Walking Dead - I'm now two episodes into my Retrospective Review series and loving revisiting it - so the news that Anchor Bay Entertainment is releasing a brand-new collector's edition of the first season on DVD and Blu-Ray is a huge draw. Unfortunately I am a shameless Special Edition magpie - add a new cover image and emblazon the words Ultimate Edition on it and I'm first in the queue to buy, no matter how many alternative editions I already own. As an indication my collection currently includes five versions of A Nightmare Before Christmas, and two almost identical releases of Philadelphia (because, obviously, one is a slight variant cover). It's an addiction. But it's not one I'm entirely ashamed of. So the promise of not only the new Special Edition DVD and Blu-ray versions, but also a Limited Edition Blu-ray Collector€™s Tin, which will all be released on October 4th inspires a zombie-like brain-hunger. Just don't get in my way.
