Anne/Jadis is back!

Last seen in The World Beyond, Anne makes an appearance at episode's end, reminding Rick that whilst he's kept Michonne's identity a secret from the rest of the CRM higher-ups, she knows exactly who Michonne is, and if the pair try to escape, their families back home will die.

Cold and calculating, Anne seems to be revelling in her power, her humanity shed entirely, it seems, after years away from the communities who saved her from Negan and the Saviors all those years ago. (Don't think too much about the timeline; it's been a long time, okay?) She may just be the show's greatest antagonist.

There isn't much else to say here, except the seeds from a damaging confrontation has been planted. Anne mentions she and Rick have a "long-standing deal," one that Michonne and his family are not a part of. What deal? Whatever it is, it sure puts Richonne's plans for escape in peril, and hints that Anne is more powerful than we once thought.
