The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live Review - 8 Ups & 2 Downs From "What We"

Whilst getting everything off their chests, Rick and Michonne spend large chunks of "What We" revealing long buried secrets to each other, which range from the devastating to the... well, slightly less devastating. 

An early revelation comes from their first fight, where Rick says he can't go home and Michonne lets slip that they have a son together, called Rick Jr; she was pregnant when Rick disappeared, and he never knew. Heartbreakingly, Rick - so broken, so beaten down - barely reacts to this, and maintains he's going back to the CRM. Rick also lets slip about Jadis.

The biggest secret of the hour comes after Rick and Michonne sleep together. Rick, panic-ridden and depressed, tells Michonne he doesn't remember what Carl looked like, and he was forgetting Michonne's face, too. So much time has passed, so much trauma, that he had to let them go if he was going to survive. 

It's a horrible reveal considering Rick has only ever been about his family, but on the plus side this secret does allow Michonne to get through to him. What would Carl want him to do? Finally, they're going home!
