13. Basic Lupine Urology (Season 3, Episode 17)
Im assuming this is a parody of The Wire. Or possibly Law & Order. Whichever one it is, we see Troy & Abed at their best, and Michael K. Williams, one of the series best guest appearances, really shines through here. Its so good it might actually count as an episode of whatever series it is imitating- if they considered smashed Yams a crime. The autopsy of the Yam, and the courtroom revelations are especially memorable. And can somebody please explain the significance of the episodes title, please? I still dont get it!
12. Course Listing Unavailable (Season 3, Episode 18)
This is where everything gets dark. Students vandalise Subway, Chang declares martial law with his Jewish adolescent army, The Greendale Seven are expelled. The Starburns Wake is genius, every member of the study group (Bar Britta- shes the worst) getting a moment to themselves. Basically, everything ends up hopeless, and to quote Britta, I realise the stakes arent actually that high, but somehow that just makes it extra scary!
