5. The First Chang Dynasty (Season 3, Episode 21)
Were getting there, slowly This feels like an epic finale because it is. Times are dark-the study group are still expelled, The Dean is imprisoned, the maniacal Chang rules with an iron fist and nobody is stopping him Im surprised it took the show this long to do a heist parody, but it does it so well Im glad it took them so long. Things turn bad and we dont expect them to end well- but the episode ends on a gut punch as Troy, in order to save everyone, has to leave forever to enter The Air Conditioner Repair School, one the most unexpectedly great arcs the shows ever done. Oceans Eleven, baby!
4. For A Few Paintballs More (Season 2, Episode 24)
And speaking of epic finales, this tops them all. Its exciting, the musics awesome, and it improved on Modern Warfare in every single way. Its not just The Study Group, but Greendale and all its bizarre side characters fighting for their beloved Community College against City College. The tonal shift from Western to Star Wars is fantastic, and everyone is proven to be a hero, especially Pierce of all people! And the ending makes you genuinely believe Pierce has left the group forever. This is Communitys equivalent of The Stolen Earth/ Journeys End from Doctor Who- The Ultimate Finale.
