Sometimes it can take a few episodes or even a couple of whole seasons before a sitcom character hits their stride (think Kramer in the early episodes of Seinfeld), but this clip shows how Lloyd-Pack nailed the tone straight from the off. The haggling between Trigger and Del Boy brilliantly shows Trigger's business acumen - or lack of it. Sadly this clip cuts out the best line of the exchange - after his "successful" negotiations, Trigger turns to Rodney and declares proudly: "That's the way to do business Dave."
