6. Will Laura Palmer€™s Death Remain Relevant?

After twenty-four years, how far does the reach of Laura Palmer€™s death still haunt the town of Twin Peaks? Even in the second season, every episode closed with €œLaura€™s Theme€ played over her smiling portrait, reminding us all why we came to this crazy town in the first place. But the town and everyone in it has matured at least somewhat (surely) and experienced more dazed and devastating things since, such as a Dale Cooper that has sadly gone off the deep end. But since Laura's doppelganger remains in the Black Lodge with Coop, and promised to see us again in twenty-five years, don't be surprised if she makes one final entrance during the revival.
