With the real-life Ragnar Lothbrok going on to become a legendary Norse ruler and hero, boasting such nicknames as the scourge of France and England, it was good to see him finally fulfil some of those prophesies in the season two finale. He's killed Earl Haraldson and Jarl Borg, decimated the treacherous King Horik and survived the betrayal of his brother, Rollo, and now all that's left is for him to rule his people and lead them in new pillages of England, with season two's finale leaving us in very little doubt that he is now the new King. His ascent to the top of the Viking world was always going to be predictable, but it's been a hell of a fun ride so far, and we look forward to Ragnar's forthcoming exploits in season three of Vikings, which will see our favourite horde of warriors attack Paris. All hail King Ragnar. What are your favourite moments from Vikings so far? Let us know in the comment section, below.
