The Walking Dead Season 4 Finale: 10 Things That Must Happen

9. Beth Will Not Be At Terminus

The last time we saw Beth, her and Daryl thought they had found a safe place to stay. They found a funeral home that another person or group had recently stayed in or were still possibly living in, with the cupboards stocked full of enough food to last for a while. Daryl was even open to "making it work" with whomever else lived there if they ever did return. But they didn't get to enjoy it for very long, as walkers invaded the house and forced Daryl and Beth to run for their lives. After killing countless walkers in the house, Daryl ran outside only to see a car drive away, presumably carrying Beth. Was the driver of the car the same person who had been living in the house? We don't know for sure yet, but don't be surprised if the driver has other plans for Beth, and she's not at Terminus when the rest of the characters reunite. Locating Beth could end up being a main focus of the show in the early episodes of next season, and it's obvious that Daryl, Maggie, and Glenn will all be frantically looking for her more than anyone else. For much of her time on the show, Beth was little more than a background character who mostly just took care of Judith, but after fleeing the prison with Daryl, a few of the episodes that followed have largely focused on the development of Daryl and Beth's relationship. They've gotten to know each other quite well, and Beth has actually even been able to get Daryl to reveal details from his past, which no other character was able to do before.
