8. Darcy Lewis
Darcy was something of a surprise inclusion in the cast for WandaVision on the face of it. Previously she had only ever appeared in Thor, and Thor: The Dark World, so fans immediately questioned why she would be brought into WandaVision.
After her two appearances as Jane Foster’s assistant/sidekick, Darcy didn’t exactly have a huge MCU fan base. However, this completely changed throughout WandaVision, as she was utilised strongly as comic relief, but also as an integral part of the show.
As she sat and watched WandaVision herself, growing more and more invested as the show went on, she was basically one of the audience. When she entered the Hex and almost became a part of the show, she had a real heart to heart with Vision as she clued him in on why Wanda was doing what she was doing.
As a character who seemingly had no future in the franchise after her last appearance in The Dark World, WandaVision revitalised Darcy as a character, with fans now excited to see when she will crop up again. Kat Dennings has teased a future project for Darcy, and now it can’t come soon enough.
