Westworld: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

Poor Theresa.

The head of quality assurance had a rough go in Westworld, but thankfully her arc was gripping. Actress Sidse Babett Knudsen made the most of this role, successfully creating a well-rounded and relatable character.

A dedicated Delos employee, Theresa's hard work ultimately led to her death. In one of the show's best scenes, Cullen is brutally murdered by her former lover Bernard, who is revealed to be a host. Theresa, like the audience, was unaware of this twist, and Knudsen does a fantastic job conveying the horror of this revelation.

Yet the impact of this moment would not be nearly as profound if the build up to it had floundered. The relationship between Bernard and Theresa feels genuine, and that is due in great part to the talent of Jeffery Wright and Sidse Knudsen. If their relationship had felt forced or stiff, both the Bernard-host reveal and Theresa's death would have fallen flat.
