Westworld: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
7. Logan
In a show full of nefarious characters and mysterious motivations, Logan is a breath of fresh air. He's just a guy on vacation trying to have a good time!
Although he seems cruel in the beginning, Logan actually becomes pretty likable as the show goes on. Unlike William, Logan is a regular at Westworld. He understands that it's all a game, so he does what he wants. Can you blame him?
One of the series' greatest accomplishments is the way it plays with the audience's sympathies, particularly in the case of Logan and William. At the start of the series, we ourselves are first time visitors to Westworld, so naturally we identify with William, a fellow newcomer. But as the story moves forward and William gets more involved with Dolores, Logan's point of view slowly starts making more sense.
William is getting too involved, too emotionally attached to these entertainment machines, and Logan sees that. He tries to relax his friend and get him to have a good time, but to no avail. In the end, he ends up creating a monster. Their relationship is complicated, layered, and realistic, and Logan is a big reason for its success.
