5. What Is The Sea?
While it's confirmed that Westworld is an island, and hence we can expect to see some water, there's a further spanner thrown into the works at the end of the episode when Bernard, Stubbs et al stumble across ANOTHER body of water. This time, it's a sea, one that wasn't there before and isn't supposed to be there now.
A sea can't just magically appear, so how did this get there? We know Ford was looking into terraforming in Season 1, but the sheer size of this makes it hard to imagine he was able to sneak it past just about everyone. But then, that's also what must've happened for it to be created at all, even if it means that it happened in the short period between the massacre and the discovery of it? Who could be responsible for that, and to what end?
