Winter Is Here - And So Is The New Game Of Thrones Season 7 Trailer
Dragons, White Walkers, and Beric Motherf**kin' Dondarrion!
To mark the first day of summer, the clever folks in HBO's marketing team decided to herald the arrival of winter, dropping a brand new trailer for Game of Thrones Season 7.
Soundtracked by Ramin Djawadi's epic Light of the Seven (from Season 6 finale The Winds of Winter), it's full of action, White Walkers, snow, Snow, and intrigue.
It follows on from the first trailer, released almost a month ago, with some repeated shots - e.g. Littlefinger creepin' in the shadows - but with plenty of new scenes as well. It highlights the massive battles we'll see, but also some of the political machinations, and most people once again ignoring the warnings of Jon and Davos.
Combining the action, the music, and the words, it's the best, most exciting look yet at the upcoming seventh season, which finally gets underway in around three-and-a-half weeks.
Some of the more interesting shots include Jon Snow in battle seemingly all on his own, the Night King looking up, a close-up of Drogon, and perhaps best of all, Beric Motherf**king Dondarrion and his flaming sword.
