X-Men ’97: 10 Things We Want To See

3. Wolverine Vs Hulk

Okay, it's never a good idea to dole out fan service purely for the sake of fan service. Having said that, what X-Men fan doesn't want to see Wolverine battle the Hulk? Because Logan debuted in an Incredible Hulk comic, fans have always been eager to see the two duke it out. And with Wolverine returning in X-Men '97, this seems like a perfect time to see the Jade Giant battle the ol' Canucklehead.

This would also be a golden opportunity to see Wolverine really cut loose, which is something we never witnessed in the 1992 cartoon. Even though Cal Dodd perfectly nailed Logan's gruff tone and snarky attitude, we never saw him hack at anyone with his adamantium claws, thanks to the Censor Board. Considering Wolverine is known for ripping chunks out of people with his razor-sharp claws, it's a bit anticlimactic that he never cut anything with them in the cartoon apart from a few robots.

But if the Canadian superhero goes against the Incredible Hulk, we will see a far more visceral version of Cal Dodd's version of Wolverine, which is guaranteed to please any die-hard fan.
