UFC On ESPN 4 Main Card Preview & Predictions

3. Greg Hardy (4-1) Vs. Juan Adams (5-1)

Fans who enjoy fast knockouts won't want to miss this heavyweight showdown between Greg Hardy and Juan Adams.

Greg Hardy is former NFL defensive end who dealt with a variety of conduct issues over the course of his career. Since becoming a full-time mixed martial artist, the former football star has gone 4-1 as a pro. In that span, he knocked out four of his opponents in the first round, with his lone loss coming by way of disqualification, due to an illegal knee.

Juan 'The Kraken' Adams is massive 6' 5" heavyweight who came to the UFC via Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Adams is 5-1 as a pro and has three first-round knockouts to his credit. He lost his most recent bout to former Olympic wrestler Arjan Bhullar.

These men have a combined total of eleven pro fights and seven of those have ended via first-round KO victory. This contest will not last long and probably won't be a technical masterpiece either. Adams may be a bit more well rounded as a fighter, but Hardy is a freak athlete, and both men hit extremely hard.

This one's a coin flip. These two will probably slug it out for a few moments before someone lands the game-ending blow, and given that we are dealing with two relatively inexperienced fighters, it's anyone's guess as to who that will be.

Hardy looks to be the slightly quicker of the two men, which is as good a reason as any to pick him as the winner in a fight that's nearly impossible to predict.

The Pick: Hardy via first-round KO.
