Back in the day when Tumblr ruled the Internet, the "SuperWhoLock" fandom was one of the most popular (and thirsty) groups online.

That name comes from the three shows members were obsessed with: Supernatural, Doctor Who, and Sherlock. Since we already mentioned Sherlock in a previous list, it's time to give the Winchester brothers their time to shine.

The demon-slaying, angel-meeting, Impala-driving exploits of Sam and Dean enthralled audiences between 2005 and 2020, and the show still has a strong following to this day. The showrunners were clearly aware of the crossover between their fans and Whovians, as they snuck a bunch of references to Doctor Who into their work.

In the Season 2 episode Nightshifter, Ronald Resnick holds up a copy of the Fortean Times, a magazine dedicated to the paranormal. On the cover is a Cyberman, which hopefully don't exist in the Supernatural world, because they have enough on their plates already.

Five seasons later, the brothers encounter a kitsune, a werewolf-like creature based on mythical foxes from Japanese folklore. The human alias of this creature? Amy Pond.

Doesn't get much clearer than that!
