10 "Superstars" You Totally Forgot Were On The WWE Roster

8. Mike & Maria Kanellis

The Kanellis' haven't gone about their lack of business quietly since struggling to get their act off the ground on the main roster, so whilst you may not have totally forgotten about them, you'd be forgiven for it.

Currently tearing up 205 Live (but if a wrestler bumps on a Wednesday and nobody's around to see it, did it even happen?), Mike Kanellis' WWE tenure hasn't even really achieved enough to be considered a disappointment on its own terms.

Fans of his and Maria's Ring Of Honor and Impact Wrestling runs may have had expectations for the Sports Entertainment paring beyond what they've carved out in incredibly unremarkable runs, but gimmicks based heavily on WWE bad habits weren't perhaps destined to transfer well on to a main roster that perfects the form at least once a week.

Getting hip to the wrestling war room, the duo used social media (as many others have) in the days following AEW's Double Or Nothing card, trying to create something - anything - to make fans care about the act regardless of where they end up. It's not the daftest gambit, based on how it's gone for some of their peers.
