10 Abandoned Wrestling Gimmicks That Would Have Been Awesome

6. Kharma

There was nothing but hope for Kia Stevens when she debuted in WWE as Kharma.

She ran roughshod over TNA as Awesome Kong, and thanks to some delightfully weird introductory vignettes that featured her dismembering barbie dolls and cackling maniacally - an allusion to what she intended to do to the Divas division - fans were feverishly anticipating her debut.

Even without the clout she'd built up in TNA, there was a desire from true wrestling fans to see a more physically imposing woman on the roster to revitalize the division. And since Aloisia was no longer a possibility, Kharma seemed the most likely savior.

But due to the various circumstances of life, Kharma never got much of a debut. Aside from the vignettes, she only ever made appearances interrupting matches and attacking various divas.

Because, as it turns out, Kharma had the "misfortune" of getting pregnant just as she was starting her initial push.

And when she returned almost a year later as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble, the writing was already on the wall that Kharma would likely be parting ways with the company permanently.

And so another bright spot on the women's roster was out the door.
