Leading up to their 1999 King of the Ring match for the WWE Championship, The Rock and The Undertaker had a weekly war of words, which mostly consisted of ‘The Great One’s’ sing-song responses and the veteran's speeches about growing up and learning the ropes.
On a 14 June 1999 episode of RAW Is WAR, The Undertaker scoffed at ‘The People’s Champ’s’ usual barrage of insults and informed him he needed to go down to the “learning tree.”
The following week, The Rock took to his usual top turnbuckle and replied, “The Rock will gladly go to the learning tree with you. And then he'll pause once we get there. He'll reach up and break off a branch, and he'll pick each and every leaf off of that branch. Then he'll turn it sideways and stick it straight up your candyass!"
