5. Fight Forever Is A Video Game Flop

In October, some reported that AEW's first video game would launch in February 2023. If there's no concrete news from official channels soon, then everyone will have to assume that isn't the case. Then, familiar questions would pop up: 'When is this thing actually coming out?'.

Gamers have yearned for a true alternative to WWE's 2K series, and guys like Kenny Omega say Fight Forever will provide it. Omega has been bold by comparing the gameplay to classics like No Mercy and SmackDown: HCTP (past masters for sure), and it's clear the marketing campaign has been painstakingly tuned to build excitement for nostalgia heads out there.

It'd be a nightmare if the game came out, was some 5/10 arcade brawler that was nothing like old favourites and had minimal content at launch. Gamers have been here before with wrestling titles, so the scepticism isn't unwarranted from those reserving judgment.

Please, please, please don't be a flop. This could open so many doors for AEW.
