OK, so Swerve Strickland has taken it upon himself to grab the brass ring during the final few months of 2023, but he's just getting started. That success will bleed into 2024, which is rather fitting considering Swerve's biggest break out performance was a claret-soaked war with Hangman Page back at Full Gear.

It's surely only a matter of time before Strickland is rocking that beautiful AEW World Title. His confidence is through the roof, and rightly so. Swerve has been having some of the best bouts in the fun Continental Classic round robin tournament too. Again, it feels like this is only the beginning of his rise.

Something sounds right about Strickland winning that World Title in the new year. It'd be colossal for him personally, sure, but the people might well start demanding it if he keeps delivering the way he has been inside the ring.
