10 AJ Styles WWE Matches We Must See

9. Kalisto

From a man whose career in WWE is as good as done to a man who is just starting out on what could be a long and illustrious career. Kalisto arrived on the main roster last year with his tag team partner Sin Cara, but the latter's inability to not be injured has seen the King of Flight go off on his own. Kalisto is frequently being mooted as the man to replace Rey Mysterio as the WWE's king of lucha, and his United States Championship victory last night suggests the company has enough faith to get behind him fully. He has been a hit with the audience too, even with the albatross that is Sin Cara by his side. For large portions of his run in TNA, AJ Styles came up against competitors in the X-Division, which was essentially the Junior Heavyweight division in all but name. When it comes to wrestling high paced risk takers, AJ Styles is up there with anyone else on the WWE roster. Kalisto would be able to unleash his full arsenal, safe in the knowledge AJ is talented enough to keep up with him. A classic? Inevitable.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
