10 Amazing (But Forgotten) WWE Pre-Show Matches You Need To See

Whilst Charlotte and Paige offended audiences with promos about dead relatives and a match that grossly under-delivered on relatively measured expectations, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks foreshadowed what was alternatively possible as the group finally moved away from the trios arrangement that blighted the original 2015 'Divas Revolution'.

Though still accompanied by her 'Team B.A.D' associates Naomi and Tamina, Sasha Banks was rapidly growing into life on the main roster, and earned an enormous reaction from her hometown crowd in as she took a bow in front of her Boston, Massachusetts crowd.

An teeth-gnashingly overwrought pre-match song from the heels failed to turn the crowd on Banks once the bell rang, especially as she renewed conflicts with her fellow NXT alumnus Becky Lynch. The two went over ten minutes, and exhibited joyous confidence in their displays that still felt fresh on WWE's (pre-game) main stage.

Tapping the 'Irish Lass Kicker' out with the Banks Statement to a thunderous response after help from her colleagues, 'The Boss' foreshadowed her run at Charlotte early in 2016. Meanwhile, both gave the sort of heartfelt and energetic display that forced the company to rethink the flaws in their initial introduction in time for a monster promotion behind a relaunched Women's Title at WrestleMania 32.
